Holy crap! A whole bunch of people need to be fired! And. I can totally see that happening here.Haha we are so fucked in this state of the country with covid. The world should be looking at us now as an example
We went into lockdown because a case from South Australia quarantine who tested negative in quarantine got let out and tested positive 4 days later in Victoria. Then after a week of testing it was revealed someone read the forms wrong and they'd listed the wrong supermarket as a site to be cleaned and get tested if you visited. Thousands upon thousands of unnecessary tests and shops closed for cleaning that didn't need it and the bug had been active in the community for 8 days. Lockdown happens and they start claiming it's the Indian variant. More tests, more cases and we are told it's a new variant all together and there is no link to any other case in the world and they can't find the first person. They (and the WHO etc) name the new variant delta and start telling us it's more contagious than any other despite on average only getting 6 positive tests a day in a community of 3 million people. For days we are told about the new variant, how contagious it is and that they don't know where it came from. Today they tell us not only is the variant not new it's fully traceable back to a Victoria quarantine case 2 weeks before the South Australia case they claim caused lock down. So not only does it again question our quarantine it begs the question why the hell could our trace teams not trace the genomic sequencing back to a case that was in our own system only 2 weeks earlier!!

It might be harsh but the snippet at the bottom of the page doesn't sound like it's going to be breaking any new ground.
The last paragraph of the article says it all though. "last album recorded in 1990, released in 1993" Looks like we've still got a while to wait for the EP.

I wonder how they kept it from the media.
It does certainly look like Dave wanted Jnr gone, whether he knew stuff before the rest of us or not he obviously knew something that was leading him down the path of firing Jnr.

Yeah I don't think Jnr's told the entire truth, I'm not suggesting he's lying to protect himself (bit late for that), but I think he's left some parts out. But I also think the band and other people have left things out too.

Kinda bullshit that none of these other members have spoken out about this. I understand they probably don't want to be associated with this, or maybe even management told them not to (although it doesn't say current members) but it would have been the nice to see a little support about him being fired. Not only that. But they had to realize that it would come out at some point. Especially with a lawsuit now involved.

Yeah it definitely seems like an odd situation. Dave may well be doing brand control and trying to save the name a bit but he's also alienating fans.
I suppose, and it may be a stretch, that this could be Jnr's way of fighting back. He's got fuck all too lose, Mustaine has a brand to protect and we know he's not shy when it comes to telling the world how right he is even when it makes the brand look bad.

Fuck ME!!!
I left to do school drop off 3 hours ago, a trip that usually takes me about 15 mins door to door. This morning because of the rain and the flooding just getting to school took 30 mins. I then went to check on my parents, spent about an hour there, it took me 45 minutes to get home 35 minutes in traffic, 10 on the back roads and tracks that only locals know. I'm home 5 fucking minutes and the school rings to tell me they want kids picked up because they haven't got enough teachers to fill classrooms due to the numbers who couldn't make it. So I'm back in the car, back on the back roads and dirt tracks in the hope the waters aren't rising and that some fool hasn't given away the 'local' back roads secrets. I get the kids from schools on opposite sides of the road and back into traffic, and that trip takes me an hour door to door as well. Thank fuck this is only a once in a decade storm because I couldn't handle too many of them.

Yeah I think I managed to listen to three albums today. It's our eldest daughter's birthday today so we decided to go out late this afternoon, still using the back roads, to see the grand parents. Coming home in the dark tonight the highway and main roads are open but still moving very slow. Looks like we'll be able to get to school tomorrow because the water is receding quickly but they tell us more rain is coming. With luck the next 12-18 hours will see enough of a drop that this doesn't happen with the next down pour.

Getting Juan Urtgea (Andy Sneap Jr.) to produce it is not a good sign. No one really wants to hear Vio-lence with typewriter-sounding drums. This is a band who HAS to have an organic sounding production for it to work.
I will buy the EP though. If it sucks I won't buy any more from them.
I think it's great that Bobby could be writing songs for them. His style would fit the band really well on the mid-paced numbers at least. I kinda doubt he can keep up with their speed unless he's doing some serious woodshedding. Sean has to have improved over the years. The biggest x-factor in the whole thing is probably the drumming. I can see that being a let-down. Perry was pretty amazing back in the day and live although he sounds good these days he's not really doing fast double bass anymore. So he's always played cheat beats on the skank and then add to that very little double bass and the magic just may not be there anymore. But we'll see.
Not sure why they changed bassists. No word why this happened. All the sudden, ex-Fear Factory bassist was in their promo pics.
