It's really not the same at all. It's far more accessible (in a good way) and the progressive elements fit the music far better. It's easily their best album.

Fair enough. Hopefully you can find something you like from it.

I know what you mean about those two. Antichrist never really clicked with me, I still enjoy it from time to time, though. And they were finding their feet, so to speak, with Choronzon as far as their progressive elements go, I suppose - the only stand out track is "Leviathan".
