Question, why 48k?

why not 44.1?

Why not?!!! :heh:
Mainly because I'm working at this sample rate/bit depht ; more resolution, better bottom and high end = better sound!
But if that's a problem I can start a new session at 44.1khz, no problem.
If it swits everyone I'm in!:)
And no I don't want to mix it!
I think it could be nice if someone else will do it?! I already offer to record some drums for this!
Or we can start a challenge/contest for the mixing after?!:kickass:
Hey Gavin I just dowloaded the soft smartftp great service you provided!
you rule!:headbang:
I'll upload some files soon!

I can't open the .rar of suggested riffs, are riffs taken care of? or should I write some stuff in drop B or something? If we need more riffs I'd love to write.

hey...

why not set the song structure first? like this: (guitar wise)

intro riff, breakdown riff, verse 1, pre-chorus, chorus, verse 1 and so on....
wouldnt it easier for each one write riff thinking in one particular part of the song?

just an idea! :)

I think we need to establish an "official tempo" so all the riffs can be pieced together

guys
there's a info.txt
and i wrote what riffs in track are

im waiting for the drums and i can record rythm guitar
after that you can hear how sounds the demo
and if you have a better equipment( i know its true) than mine
you can record YOURS rythms on that drums

so its the proccess:)

The stuff I'm working on goes at 140bpm.
If its ok to everyone we work on this tempo?! jus let me know?!!
I'm working on a mix so I'm trying to rehearse some drumming in the spare time.
I'm waiting for your guitar riffs. Besides the fact that usually while I'm recording I don't even listen to the guitar guide in my headphones just the click and a bit of the drums. but for the composition process it's precious so I can work around it.
Let's do it!!!

Yep! Agree!

Funny! That's the structure that I'm kinda working on except that the breakdown riff comes before the second verse! But can be that way!
More sugestions?!...
