i was wondering if anyone here has ever used 2 IRs on a SINGLE track. Has anybody ever gotten a killer tone just to find out that the cab simulation in the shitty amp simulator was not bypassed?? but as long as it sounds good right????? haha
Im actually playing around with 2 IRs (the amp simulator cab and a homemade IR) while working with a pedal steel VST.... and it sounds kind of good :zombie:.
So im just wondering if anyone has dabbled in this, whether by accident or intentionally.

I was playing around with the Dirthead ampsim through an impulse, didnt realise i'd left the cab switched on in the Dirthead... sounded so much better with it... know where you're coming from dude...

I think he means the two cab sims in SERIES... so:

Guitar > Amp Sim > Cab 1 > Cab 2

yeah. Most of the time I just get this phasey "listening thru vacuumcleaner hose" effect from the serialized impulse responses.
