This is one of the traffic cops and fire departments worst nightmares... the size of these pile-ups and the risk of more cars to plow into the rescue personel.

Thats exactly what happened too. I was listening to the radio at my desk and it was first inititally 50 cars and by the time I left work it was 100 and then when I watched the news later that night it somehow turned into 200....I was pretty much like this .
