I am new to Katatonia - I picked up "Viva Emptiness" because I knew the band was friends with Opeth. I think it is an excellent CD, and now I plan to get the group's whole catalog.
I am curious though, if the group Katatonia has been influenced by the group Thought Industry at all, especially records like T.I.'s Black Umbrella?
