Lost In Necropolis
The first track, pure depressive black metal in the vain of False Dawn. Pretty good track.

The second track on the other hand. Zomg. The vocals, "The Romans" brought back the evilness of the HF vocals! On top of a song in the vain of Summoning The Rain.

Very good EP. Drudkh still ceases to fail me!

Your thoughts?

Quiet you...

As much as I do like the Songs of Grief and Solitude album, it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. So it disapointed me a bit. But returning to black metal, in good form might I add, means they cease to fail me.

Get it?

EricT i appreciate the sendit load on myspace, it was very nice of you in case no one ever thanked you for it...

i never listened to Drudkh before....but Fall Into Oblivion...was just..

it was the same thing over and over agian, and the chords and rings with notes he was using just sounded like slop...it was the same thing till 3:09 into the song, then they added a symbol to the song at 3:10...then at 5:09 they started to add a crash to the drums....repeat...repeat...

im sorry its just horrible. Ashes is just the same, the only thing that seems to change is the drums that are hit, and its repetitive....

repetitive..repetitive

but i do appreciate the genorosity for letting me upload the EP.

This is definitely not your style of music... i didn't think it would be.

depressive black metal....well they could of been a bit more technical i mean, its the same thing over and over. Just no bite to it, it seems like just a few songs to have in the background while you socialize or something, i mean, if im gonna listen to depressive music ill listen to Sentenced or something, and i know of black metal bands that just don't play everything over agian.

maybe if i listen to more of there matieral then i can get a good image of the band, but the EP just didn't do a thing for me. at all.

Thankies for the link. I'll need to give it another listen...not sure I'm ready to form an opinion on it yet. I've been listening to a lot of slow, mellow and depressing shit lately, so this should be right up my alley. :)

You could possibly try out Blood In Our Wells, but... again, I don't think it would be your thing. You're looking for a bit more upfront technicality, where as Drudkh is more of a subtle band in that aspect.

A couple weeks ago I was waiting for the R1 Train from the airport back to Temple University, it was late in the evening, kind of a chilly brisk night. I listened to Blood In Our Wells through headphones while waiting outside. That was an experience.
