Thoughts on the new Maiden?

Like I mentioned on the newest episode, hopefully this will be the good Maiden album, since every other album is good, and its time again for a good album...

I heard it only twice... hasn't grown on me yet thats why iam bit down with it too. Its brooding and it paces slowly but has a nice instrumental section.i Also i would like to know the subject story of it so maybe i could get the song more.. By the way, Evil C. seems down with Dance of Death.. i can't see why. Rainmaker, No more Lies, Dance of Death, Paschendale, Age of Innocence, journeyman are classic maiden.

I think "brooding" is where they are often their best, but the brood has to kick in with the gallop!

3 songs are out now for listening from the maiden camp. Different Worlds, Brighter than a Thousand Suns and the Reincarnation of Beergerman (or something Likethat). So Far iam getting positive about the new album. And finally got to absorb Reincarnation... sure is a grower.

Just to add to that...I finally heard the album in its entirety. There isn't a single mediocre song on the goddamn thing...it's straight Maiden excellence from beginning to end. They've finally figured out how to combine "the brood and the gallop", as Papa Josh said...and the results are stunning. I think this may ACTUALLY be their best album since Seventh Son.
