Just what the title says, I'm looking for thrash that I haven't heard. Meaning new/unknown bands that have little if any recorded material. Not so worried about quality/originality (though those are nice), just want to hear new material.

Please offer some links to myspace/band pages where I can download (or at least stream) some songs. Thanks! :headbang:

So you've really heard it all? Hm, I dunno, I barely listen to any other thrash bands than Voivod anyway.

why not use that kids essential thrash thread?

I haven't heard all of the classics, obviously, but a lot of them. But I really want to hear "new" thrash. I want to see if I can find any young/new bands that I like.

I'm always looking for new thrash bands as well, so this is a good thread for me too. Here are some I really like from the newer death/thrash bands:

Deathchain - Finnish thrash

Malicious Death - I actually ordered their vinyl

Violator - Brazilliian Thrash

Where Victims Lie - These guys are great but need to get their asses in gear and record a full album

COMMUNIC.

A relatively new band (3 releases) and one of my faves! They label themselves metal/ progressive / thrash. They are hard to categorize and at times thier style (even within a song) changes...this makes them great IMO. Thier heavy thrash sound appeals to me most...so I guess they would fall into this topic.

:Smug:

So far removed from what constitutes thrash that you must be kidding.

Ahhh...the key word from T-girl was "new". Communic is far removed and much better than old school thrash style bands. I specifically said they play thrash at times. If that doesn't qualify them as thrash...then fine.

The fact that they have enough talent to be more than just a simple thrash band, doesn't take away from having a more modern thrash sound at times-when they are at thier heaviest. Maybe some should try expanding thier metal tastes?:Smug:
