Thrash!

Coma is Kreator's best, followed closely by Pleasure and then Extreme and Endless Pain tied, then Terrible Certainty, then Violent Revolution. IMO.

I'd say get Kreator's first five albums in order, but if you don't wanna take our word for their awesomeness, try Extreme Aggression or Terrible Certainty. Or just get Coma of Souls right away, it's their best.

Violent Revolution does indeed have some awesome moments. I'm REALLY looking forward to Enemy of God; those clips sounded awesome.

Oh yeah, and Leave Scars is probably the worst Dark Angel album, but it's not horrible or anything. As you mentioned, Erik, "The Death of Innocence" is quite good, and "Older Than Time Itself" fucking SLAYS. A lotta people dislike the "Immigrant Song" cover, but I think it's pretty good.

Ok, I'm confused. How do you get to this ftp? I really need some new Thrash to listen to. Especially some Sabbat.

As for favorite Thrash albums:

Megadeth - Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?
Vio-lence - Eternal Nightmare
Sepultura - Schizophrenia
Overkill - The Years of Decay
Heathen - Victims of Deception

^If you are deemed worthy, one of the Inquisition lads will give you ops. But it's been down for about 2 days, and I dunno if it's going back up again.

KREATOR!

In my opinion, and this is just an opinion, the order of best to worst albums go like this:

Pleasure To Kill
Coma Of Souls
Terrible Certainty
Endless Pain
Violent Revolution
Extreme Aggression
Cause For Conflict
Outcast
Renewal
Endorama

How is one deemed so?

Send off a PM to Pyrus, Jean-Pierre, Dodens or Erik, mention what bands you will contribute to the FTP, and ask nicely for the details.

Shit, I don't know how to do this uploading/ftp stuff :erk:

There's a description earlier in the thread... ahh fuck it.

You'll need to download an FTP client, I recommend SmartFTP or Ipswitch WS_FTP.

When you run the software, it should guide you through the connection, all you have to do is type in the address (supplied by Lykathea above), the username and the password. When it connects, you'll see the files/folders that are in there, and you'll be able to drag-drop files from your computer into it, and vice-versa.

Someone has been uploading the songs as m4a files. What kind of media player can I play them with? I use the Windows Media Player to play music on my computer, but that will not play them.

Me and fotmbm just got ourselves some Overkill records at a used stuff store

I got "The Killing Kind", he got "Bloodletting", "From the Underground..." or whatever it's called and "I Hear Black"... How are all these?

I also got UNLEASHED IN THE EAST
Not their best albums, none of them(but none of them are bad overall, Overkill can't possibly make a bad album), but if you like THOSE, then hold on to your seat, the best is yet to come.

oh, and awesome job in getting Unleashed In The East.:headbang:
