Thrash!

New toxic holocaust at the end of the month.

Haven't heard anything off it yet but TH is one of my favorite thrash bands.

And new Skeletonwitch the same day actually.

Why do people here not like skeletonwitch? I mean, honestly, if there albums were like, ten minutes longer, I might not like them myself, but they thrash around for a little over a half hour and they're done. No bullshit and it usually kicks ass. Then again, I think people here also dislike TH, which is lame.

I like both of them, already posted these in the Metal 2013 thread. There's samples on there if you want to check them out. Sounds good.

Heh I usually don't click youtube links on this forum because they just show up blank on my iPad. I'll probably buy both regardless, so listening now isn't a huge deal.

Fuck yes! I'm realllly looking forward to all three of those aforementioned albums. Warbringer and Toxic Holocaust both gave us some of their best stuff with their last albums, cant wait to hear what they came up with now. I really liked Forever Abomination too, but just not as much as their previous two albums ... Beyond the Permafrost is one of my favorite "modern" thrash albums.

New Warbringer album is different, not what I expected from them. Some things that are uncommon in thrash like delay effects on the vocals, lots of layering too. Some parts that sound like Vektor a little bit. Some acoustic parts. Some verses with only drums and bass, no guitar. It's slower paced than usual, but it's an interesting album. I might buy a physical copy. I like when thrash bands get creative.
