original mix(slower speed)
makes the vocals are little more vicious and riffs a little heavier

Time to necro my presence in GMD proper...

Been checking out some Slayer albums I haven't heard before. Divine Intervention seems a good kind of different. Undisputed Attitude can fuck off, though.

This is fun, cool tempo changes.

This gets super proggy.

[EDIT] Yeah I just bought that Despair album. Great early 90's tech thrash. There's a few left on amazon for like $7, might be worth something eventually.

This fucking album. How is this my first time hearing it?

Favorite parts:
Harmonized guitars with eccentric vocal style 2:38 to 3:13
2 minutes of proggy guitar solos 4:33 to 6:40

Working on 1993 tonight. I'm determined to find the exact point thrash 'crashed'. Hopefully I can find something good from every year in the 90's. Here's one I hadn't heard before. Lob of Lemmings, tech thrash.

[EDIT] 1993 overall is pretty bad so far heh. Even Nuclear Assault and Sacred Reich's albums sucked. Coroner's Grin is alright.. not their best.

Believer was still at the top of their game.

The second Despair album is my favorite of theirs. It's hard to find thrash guitarists with riffing styles that are immediately identifiable/unique, but on that album and the third they had that. Really melodic and almost predicting melodeath to an extent, but less choppy and more urgent.

I've only heard their first and third. Both were excellent. I'm going to have to check that out!

Do you have any 1993 recs? I'm taking a shotgun approach at the moment.
