Hatchet is cool. I have one CD. Slowly getting back into thrash because of bands like this and Havok.
If you're into Havok and Hatchet, there are so much more great young bands to learn about...

My favorite types of thrash border on also being death metal, so Demolition Hammer, early Malevolent Creation, etc
That's also one of my fave mixtures and Ripper do that stuff great.

Some of the best bands are of that mix, mostly by accident though as in the bands coming out of the thrash scene, getting heavier and getting into the death metal scene.

Out of this list, I've heard Hellcannon, Sadistic Ritual and Invincible Force. Didn't much like Invincible Force, but Hellcannon is fantastic. Sadistic Ritual is alright. I saw the first two at a free metal show about a month ago.

The opening track of this album is all that is right with aggressive pummeling thrash. I'd like to buy it but waiting for Amazon to drop the price a bit.
