Speed Metal Slaughter is their best...kind of stupid band though. Almost of the 'ironic' sort. I don't see myself ever putting one of their albums on again.

A good band to check is Mortification from Detroit, MI. They never released any full lengths, only a demo compilation in '89 and '90, but it's some kick ass music. They've got the whole Thrash/Death fusion going. Check them out.

So I've been listening to Acrophet's Corrupt Minds, and it's pretty decent stuff. Fans of DRI would probably enjoy them.

The Awakening is good, but it has a problem with totally fucking awesome song intros that suddenly drop into the song.

That one is the best. A bit more melodic/speed metal oriented, too.
