Thrash!

There is a reissue with both albums on one CD. I have that. At the time it was less rare then either original CD release. It's been a while, so that may be pretty rare too. You might keep an eye out for that.

EDIT: and I assume you know they came back and released an album under the name Opprobrium.

The production on Breaking The Wheel isn't nearly as bad as that shitty sample mp3 on Suffering Jesus' website would lead you to believe. The album is actually pretty damn good.

Any fans of old Swedish group Hexenhaus? You might recognize the cover here but Morbid Angel are the thieves since this came out in 87.

Hell yes, their debut is awesome. Reminds me of a more melodic Release-era Destruction. One of my favorite obscure thrash albums. :kickass:

I have their first three albums on LP and am therefore super kvlt.

The Eliminator guy was all pissed at me because I didn't include his album on a list of worthwhile new thrash metal and I explained to him that the list only included things that I already own and that he needs to give me a copy. He's a bit of a douche sometimes. Don't tell him I said that though. I might not get my free copy.

"A Tribute To Insanity" is also one of my overall favourite thrash metal albums. I loved it when it was released in 1988 and I still enjoy listening to it now.

I only have got their first two albums on vinyl, so I guess this makes me just kvlt then. (I also have the debut and their third album on CD.)

np: Hexenhaus - "Requiem"

I actually don't like the first hexenhaus album as much as Awakening, Awakening feels more polished and all around a more mature album. on the topic of eliminator though, i like a few songs off their cd but the production is honestly god awful, i don't understand how they let that happen.

Tell him to get a better drum sound next time around.

seriously

You think I didn't? I let him know every aspect of his band that I think sucks.

I think he's still pissed at me right now because I didn't include his band on a list on the internets. I just got back from Vintage Vinyl though and I put his album in the front of a row of vinyls, mostly for my own personal amusement since it was right in front of Evile. He seriously needs better production though, and he knows it too.

Watchtower is awesome tech thrash, but I haven't heard much technical thrash. Any bands like them?

Depressive Age (first two or three albums)
Mekong Delta
Realm
Sieges Even (Life Cycle)
Skeptic Sense
Target (Master Project Genesis)
Terrahsphere (they kind of suck, but still sound Watchtower-esque)
Toxik

EDIT: I second that Deathrow album. If you don't mind some tech/prog thrash that doesn't sound like Watchtower but is still awesome, give Anacrusis, Aspid, and Thought Industry both a try.
