They are still active. Their last album was released in 2007 titled "Fields of Rot".

Darkness Descends is pretty awesome, but it could use some more varied drumming.

Awesome indeed. Easily my favorite American thrash album aside from the best Slayer albums. It sounds more in the vein of German thrash, even though it's American. And it's even better than a lot of German thrash at that. And that's saying a lot.

Saw them live prior to Firewind and DT/got their album. They are impressive, can't quite get into the vocals though. Extremely talented bunch notwithstanding.

I like that crazy high pitch vocal thing. Reminds me of some other band. Oh man, it reminds me of some of the vocals on this band called Valor.

I just recently got the Demolition Hammer reissue of all their stuff. They are pretty kick-ass thrash!

Dudeee, Demolition Hammer is kick fuckin ass! I have Totured Existence and Epidemic of power great albums.

Demolition Hammer is right in there with other death/thrash bands such as Devastation, Incubus and the like. They don't seem as creative as a band like Possessed. Vocals are standard harsh thrash style.
