^ that's never happened to me. i definetly prefer to have physical tix too, and i'd say half the time i get will call, the other half an actual ticket. i never show up at a venue, w/out one of the two. if its soldout, and i'm already there? i'd be pissed. much better to make sure you can see the show ahead of time.
as for your will call situation..that's odd. like i said, all i do is wait in that 2nd line, and present them with my confirmation paper, and bam, i'm in.
