Marijuana Found in Bag of Potato Chips
Des Moines, June 30, 2003 - A Des Moines woman found more than chips inside a bag of potato chips she bought at a convenience store. Inside the bag was another bag, containing what Lois Campbell and police think was marijuana.
Campbell bought a bag of Uncle Ray's garlic-flavored chips on Saturday from a Git-N-Go store. She was about to give some chips to her child when she spotted the other bag. She called the police.
The chips are packaged in Detroit. The convenience store where they were sold has taken the rest of the bags off the shelves until more is known.
