Titles for the future Katatonia album

Seems like you love that song, the atmosphere... and maybe the theme [what I do...]

but I think it wouldn't be a good choice because they already had this song with that name.
I don't care about the name the new one will get and they have always chosen a good name that fitted to the songs.

And I like to be surprised...

not City of Glass...

And, hehe, I will not take part in a competition, making names for their album. We don't know anything about that album, so it's no point...

Hm, I"ll suggest "when the children cry" or "no beer in sweden". Sound both very depressive, eh?
absolutely!:tickled:
especially the second title...something that reminds me what happended at the Vasterås gig... a metal festival without alcohol is really sad!

When I read Blakkheims statement about these poor guys not being allowed to drink alcohol backstage, that reminded me of my youth, playing in a band in the local youth club with limited amount of beer to consume...hell no, hard to believe these people have children...but they are rocking, make good music and i think we all love stories like that:)

maybe i haven't dissected the offic. site enough but are they at work already creating another album? i assume they are constantly writing but haven't seen anything except the comp of unreleased early stuff.

yes, the story with the Västerås gig is pretty annoying, haven't heard about such nonsence yet. so you can "re-phrase" the suggested title "no beer in Sweden" into "Västerås' tale of woe", heh.

I thought 'City Of Glass' would be a good title, because of Jonas' statement in the Inferno mag, where he explained the VE lyrics. I'm sure hes stated something about a continuation of the 'Inside The City Of Glass'-idea.

City Of Glass would not work, because each Katatonia album has had its own identity and it would suggest that the band is content to repeat themselves.
What he said, plus the fact that 'City of Glass' doesn't look or sound as awesome as the majority of Katatonia album titles. It doesn't have that creepiness that 'Tonight's Decision' has, nor does it have the epic atmosphere of a 'Brave Murder Day', nor the finality and hopelessness of my all time favourite album, 'Last Fair Deal Gone Down'.
