And anyone who read the initial post before you came along, as well as my friends (Matt, I thought you said you posted?) will vouch for the fact that I am NOT trying to get a single cent back over this, and never was.

Anyway, FSDR, thank you for the laugh. I hope to meet you in person (again) someday.

You know, Matt and I had a long discussion about this last night, and pretty much cleared everything up. And one thing he said to me was that if we ever have a meetup like that again, he hopes there won't be any animosity between any of us.

Well, I agreed that there absolutely wouldn't, but considering I don't know who posted this little gem, until that's cleared up, the animosity is back. And I don't know who to direct it at. So just maybe, little man, it might be in the best interest of your other friends to reveal your identity.

Brian stop trying to blame us for every little shit thing, Good Lord! Look at the guy's profile/IP. Yasmin/Harris live in NY. Zach lives in WA. I live in NH. Get JDub or Deron to find out who he is for you and get him banned/hate-mailed. He's not one of us, so stop assuming we're evil people. I don't want animosity with you and I don't want to be pegged with blame for things we had nothing to do with, like this tool's first post and pathetic attempt at a joke.

Zach - It has less to do with me not knowing you and more to do with the fact that you guys bolted and left us with an unexplained problem.

I thank you for taking the time to post all you did, and even to do all the math (which really wasn't necessary at this point - and no, I couldn't give 1/10 of a fuck about $3, or as previously stated, even about $20). I appreciate you being civil about it. You took the time to explain yourself like any decent honest person would, and that's great. Thank you.

Honestly, at this point, I really don't care. This really isn't worth it. As per my edit of my 2nd post, "Fuck it". Seriously, fuck it. I'm not mad at anyone (except FSDR right now, even though that person - whoever it is - is hardly worth my anger). There are no hard feelings.

I will apologize - and this is the only thing I'm apologizing for - for the way I handled this. Not for posting it here, but for the harshness of the original post (the REAL reason I deleted it), and for naming names. But that's it. It needed to be said, and I *thought* the other people were supporting me on this (none of whom have posted yet... funny how that works).

Just don't bolt next time, mmkay? We're cool. I promise.
 
I'm sorry about the problem, but in my opinion this wasn't the way to go about handling it. You saw me at the venue when I was in the merch line with Matt, if you said something like "hey there was a problem at dinner, we were missing $100 and we think it was from you guys" I would've given you some money right then and there, no questions asked. We're not unreasonable people. To make it out as if we're freeloading thieves is unfair. There's not much that can be done about it now, but next time we'll know. No hard feelings.

I apologize for pegging this guy on you. Like I said in my last post, and before this douchebag posted, no hard feelings, okay? I never said any of you were evil people, I just came to conclusions based on the information I had. Sticking around and making sure the bill was cool would have left me with a little more information, and no one would have been suspected in the first place.

Guys, we really are going overboard with this (myself included). I apologized publicly for the way I handled this in my last post, as well as personally, so far, to Matt. People are starting to perceive me as more of an asshole than I actually am - everything I type anywhere on the internet seems to be read as if it's loaded with so much more negative emotion than it actually is.

I don't hate anyone. I'm a really nice, friendly guy, and most of the other people at that table can vouch for that. The more you guys post the worse I feel about the whole thing, because you all seem like pretty cool people.

I felt like me and my friends were taken advantage of, and pointed my finger in the same direction anyone else in my situation would have. Don't bolt next time, and the finger won't be pointed, and uncomfortable situations like this can be avoided. That's all.

Agreed 100%. Like i said in the pm to you (i'll go ahead and post it here haha) i do apologize for leaving so quickly. I explained why we did already, and yeah, it probably looked really bad. Anyway, i say we just end it all. We all agree to handle shit better on all ends next time. Deal.

I think at this point everyone's posts are overlapping, so I assume you didn't read the one where I admitted I was a retard for the way I handled it. I absolutely agree with that, and I apologize for being unfair, at this point I just want this thread to die.

(PS - I only spotted Matt in the merch line, I didn't really notice who was around him...)
 
In our defense, Zach, one of our friends tried to get you guys to stop since we were still figuring out the bill since we were about $80 short of what we needed and you laughed and ran off. It was wrong to name names, but from our perspective that makes you look like the #1 target as for who skipped out on the bill. I think we now have a better idea of who actually did screw us over now (and someone definitely did because I threw down extra money along with 3 other people at my end of the table). Thank you for taking the time to straighten it out and I apologize for the accusations. I hope there will be no bad blood between any of us.

Well, he was drunk, no? Maybe he was laughing at something else. I doubt anyone who'd leave without paying with any hopes of getting away with it would laugh in the faces of the people they were taking advantage of. I think we're overanalyzing here...
