I just can't stand Nevermore's vocals 90% of the time, although the music is fantastic. I'm making myself listen to that full album right now in hopes the vocals will grow on me....

The vocals took me AGES to get use to. It only got easy once i listened to the Re-mixed Enemies of Reality, though the music got bit repetitive on that album.

I have seen Nevermore live last year and I must say that it was the best live show of all the shows I have seen in 2005.
And the vocals aren't that bad. I've heard worse (like those high screaming voices).

And Nevermore deserves all the praise they get, Endeavor is a beast of an album. Dane's vocals are amazing in conjunction with the music, you just need to really get into the whole thing and not pick apart the different elements. That's key to getting used to him but once that happens it's all good.
