Too Much GR from Comp?

need a second pair of ears... been listening to this too long and now don't know if the comp's too noticable or not. pulling my hair out!!!

do you hear a noticable drop - too much gain reduction - at any pt in this clip? the comp's on the master bus, just some light glue.

Didnt listen, but a good pointer is to hit the master bus around 2-4db of GR if your ITB. Outbord compressors can hit the mix harder.

i thought about that too - but i'm not really asking for feedback on the song/music - just whether anybody here notices a drop in volume due to the compressor. it's just a small couple second clip. just a sanity check...

If you are having volume dips, it would be you need to look more at your release settings rather than GR.
