Toontrack Metal! EZX - Yay or Nay?

So, what's the verdict on the Metal! expansion? It's only $40 here right now:

Just wondering, because I'm still loving Metal Machine and not sure I even want to bother with this if it isn't spectacular... What say yee?

I have tons of drum samples and most of them are Metal oriented. I bought 'Metal Machine' which is great but finally I find myself not using it much - almost never tbh as I prefer some of my other samples to enhance acoustic drums. I really recommend it the 'Rock Solid' expansion though. It just sounds awesome! The kicks are impressive! HUGE! Not for Death Metal tho

I'd say for the price its worth it. At the very least, you'll have some variety to play with. If you don't like the drum tones, you will still have some extra MIDI to mess around with too.

Just bought it but waiting on my licence. I really like the toms in the first clip on the TT website so pulled the trigger.

Yay, its ALMOST as good as metalmachine, the kicks are way better, the snare's the same roughly, but the toms and brass as superior (no pun!) on machine.

The huge, big crack, and mini grind kicks are my favorite kicks from toontrack.
