Top 10 Television Shows of the 1980s

Needs more Airwolf and A-Team. Cartoon-wise, needs more Transformers, Voltron, Robotech and The Real Ghostbusters :)
There was also some barbarian/fantasy-type show that I have never been able to remember the name of. I guess it had to have been around '85 and I think some guy had his eyelids cut off in one episode.

Charles in fucking Charge!

Nicole Eggert was quite the pear.

Note - I was 4 when this came out and she was 13 [/notapedophile]

Voltron kicks ass.

The 80's were the Golden Age for Children's cartoons. Now you have Pokemon, Yugi-Oh, and other faggot shit that makes Sesame Street look like G.I Joe by comparison.

I definitely enjoyed that show, but man was that one of the lamest theme songs ever.

"And I see....I want Charles in charge of me."

:puke:

 ... did you guys watch the Scott Baio is 45 and Single series on VH1 a few months back? ... brilliant ... the dude banged everyone on the show.

Growing Pains and Wonder Years ruled also ... in the pimply gay way.

Winnie :kickass:

haha, of course I still remembered the melody, but I completely don't recall that arrangement! wtf is that? That woman sings it so dramatic and almost weepy, like Charles was sent to this Earth to bring world peace, stop global warming, and save a beached whale. And then, they throw in some crazy mariachi horns just for the fuck of it.

Not only does she have that great body, she's some sort of genius too, and hot genius chicks are 2x hot. Still has a bit of a grandma-mouth though. :(

I liked all the cheesy sitcoms well enough, but for me, 80s TV was all about the hour-long action/adventure shows. So,

Magnum P.I.
Knight Rider
MacGyver
Dukes of Hazzard

...and if 80s/90s-crossover Wonder Years (which was brilliant) is legal here, then I also have to include Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Nicole Eggert was hot.
Willie Ames was also known as Bibleman.
Danica McKeller is a math teacher.

"Charles in charge of our days and our nights.........Charles in charge of our wrongs and our riggggggggggghhhhhhhtttttttssssssss!!!!"

LOL - it's so horrible it somehow rules.

Indeed - hot genius chicks FTW, but hot genius chicks who are also very flirtatious/sexual in nature = :worship:

Possibly my favorite show ever (based on the ol' mood of the day criteria). "The Best of Both Worlds" Parts 1 & 2 could easily have been a theatrical release. Just superb acting and intriguing storylines.
