Ack, I have to wait till Christmas time to see it! My computer won't play UK/European dvd's because of some kind of zone or something.

isnt there some kind of Codec that you need to download and install so you can play that format aswell?

Most likely the DVD will be region free, like most of music dvds. (Don't know for a fact) If that is the case the problem might be if your dvd player isn't capable of playing PAL dvds (Most modern dvd players are able to play NTSC and PAL) if these are correct you should be able to see the picture. (on old european tvs if you played NTSC material it showed up only black and white)


edit: ach, you said computer. Well if the DVD is region free you shouldn't have any problems.

well either way I'll have to look into this now! Thank you both, there is hope! I didn't know a lot of music dvd's are possibly region free. I just assumed all dvd's are the same.

Also in one of the video's Warlord mentioned "Download Festival." The DVD centers around a Finnish Summer 2008.
I don't have it here, but these clips look like the ones on the Paganfest edition of "The Varangian Way." Correct me if I'm wrong.

btw, those videos are from download 2007. They came with the bonus dvd as part of the directors cut and extended version of the varangian way. Bonus dvd had Holmgar, Jarislef, Fuck the guitar solos bit, Rasputin, Battle metal from download, battle metal from rock hard and battle metal from with full force. Also had the Holmgard karaoke version as well. Can still pick it up some places like amazon i think.
