i have an ibanez RG series guitar and it was all well and good untill strings started breaking and i started replacing them and now, when i try to tune it i get the low strings tuned but by the time i get the high strings tuned the back of the trem starts sticking way out to the point that the low strings are way out of tune. eventually i keep trying to tune it better but by the time im done the trem is sticking out so far that the strings arent even anywhere near the neck to the point that its not even playable. ive tried adding springs to it so that thered be more resistance but that doesnt seem to be working too well. neither does tightening the screws that are holding the springs in place. does anyone know how to fix this probem?
