The bigest problem I have in my project studio is drums. I want to be able to record everything at home. For the moment I'm using a mouse and the drum editor window in cubase, which is quite time consuming. Since I'm actually a guitarist I'd rather spend money on guitar equipment... so I can't afford a good drumset and microphones. Someone told me something about black mesh "practice" skins that you could use with triggering mics. I don't have a clue how it works, but if I could get a real shitty drumset and use it just to trigger DFHS, that would be sweet. I know that many in this forum have great knowledge about recording and if anyone could explain how it works I would be really happy
