Trillian vs someone new to Bass?

Hey,

I'm still learning guitar, picked it up half a year ago. I have trillian and it sounds awesome but I'm wondering most of the time if I'd be better off buying a cheap bass and trying to learn it instead. I'm already trying to focus on the guitar though so I'm not sure if I'd pick one up and it'd end up being worse than trillian... What do you guys think?

Use trillian until you won't be good enough to record your own bass. Learning bass will be useful, believe me. So use trillian while you learn bass, and in the meanwhile focus on guitar. That's what I'd do.
