Nah better than my first impression of it. Both genres frequently rely on some concept of image which can be equally stupid, depending on the individual band.

Manticora is one of those bands that I should love; dark, heavy, cool vocals. But they just bore me to tears. I find their CDs to be a chore to listen to. I was hoping they would convert me, when I caught them live at ProgPower last year... no dice.
