trying to get all I can out of slate/pod farm

This is just a tone test I whipped up earlier to mess around in pod farm and slate and see what I could get out of it. I figured I'd stop by and see what you think. Comment, critique, lambast, whatever. Thanks for checkin' it out. By the way, it'd be nice if I got maybe more than 1 or 2 replies...

Thanks a lot, dude! I kind of want to change the leads, maybe a less distorted tone... I hit record and just played something metalcore-generic and was like "eh whatever", I'm glad you liked it.

My whole slate setup was kick 10, the dream snare (ever so slightly pitched down) and the fat toms.

How much post processing did you end up doing on the guitar tracks? I've been trying to achieve a tone like yours in my mixes; can't seem to pull it off though.

Not very much at all, just some light EQing, though there was also a touch of master EQing in Ozone, as well.

i like the mix its real full maybe just bring the kick down a tad is all id suggest
