i need a cheap flight from amsterdam to athens and back, a day or two after christmas. anyone know the cheapest options? i'm off to the travel agents to find out.

If you want to do it from Amsterdam you should prefer KLM or Transavia (which is the one that lands in my town, Thessaloniki) and definitely check for internet prices! They can be extremely cheaper than the normal ones. And of course try to book well in advance because a) it's cheaper, b) you won't find anything if you are late, especially in Christmas!
Oh, and I don't know if you care but Paradise Lost are playing two dates here a couple of days before Christmas! Anyway, it's nice seeing so many people wanting to come here...... I guess we are nice!

yep yeah i had a lot of shit to book a ticket to helsinki since everything is sold out already almost, but you might have more luck, it also depends when you come back, like i come back on a monday, so i had a cheaper flight then returning on a sunday and so on

have you checked websites like www.cheapflights.com or .co.uk, or the STA website etc? or even www.air2000.com ? you can find pretty damn good prices on ailine tickets on the net

If you leave in Brussels, You can fly with Virgin for 120 (that's when I ordered my tickets without taxes etc. ) But you may look what's the cheapest flight those days, because Virgin has a policy the more crowded the plane is, the expensiver the tickets become... So if you find a 'uncrowded' flight you will pay way less! Example for my return: on 12 january it was 107, on the 13th it was 57! That's a huge difference not?!
