My old Peterson tuner (bought in 1988) still works great. It's taken several rather nasty tumbles off the top of racks when people have forgotten to unplug from it and just walked away and pulled it off (duh!) but it's never stopped working at all. I had to replace the handle once, which got badly bent during one such fall, but as far as the tuner working - it's 100% solid.
I do like the new LED strobes they have out now - apparently these are even more accurate than the traditional strobes (which are themselves very accurate). Might have to pick one of those new ones up for Christmas. Very nice.
