Tuning bass with Melodyne. Can't get the bass to sound in tune with guitars

Who here is adept at tuning bass using melodyne? I'm finding that I just can't get the bass to sound in tune with the guitars on a few notes. It's driving me bonkers. I flatten the note out, it doesn't sound right. Move it up and down, still doesn't sound right. Try to make the attack sharper than decay, nope still doesn't sound right. I want this thing to pocket with the guitars, but it's hard to match the exact pitch of the transient and decay with the bass. Any tips? I can't find anything on youtube about tuning bass guitar.

My first guess is that the guitars are out of tune.

Since tuning is a physical issue the problem and the solution is just there.
There are many chances that the guitars are out of tune,especially if you play chords(5/6/7 strings together all the time) then you have more tuning issues.
Try to re-record the guitars on those notes(if this option is available)

We retracked with a thicker gauge of strings on the bass. Sounds great now.
