Twin peaks is the greatest tv show ever

I actually wrote an essay about Twin Peaks when I was at uni. Not only was the storyline, characterisations and plot way beyond anything that had been on TV before (and since), it was was shot on film rather than video, which is a rare thing even now but pretty much unheard of then.

I never actually watched an episode - by the time the first episode was on I had lost interest in it because of the promos we had been force-fed in the months leading up to it.

I hate it when that happens.

If you thought they were force-feeding you promos back then, just think about what 10 does now! In every prime time ad-break for three weeks leading up to when it started, they promo'd The OC. That's about seven times an hour, five hours a day, 21 days straight.

M*A*S*H was also shot on film, and the early seasons of Seinfeld were too which is REALLY strange for a sitcom like that to be shot on film.

My votes for best TV show ever though have to go to either Passions or Sit Down Shut Up, its a tough one.

And I didn't watch the OC either. :)

I haven't seen that many adverts for Farnsy/Jonesy, actually, so I doubt I'll lose interest. It's not until February anyway.

The OC roxxors :headbang:

I've watched every episode sonce it started. I'm fuckin hooked.

My mates and I had a big golf dress up tournament last week, and my partner and I went as Team OC. We made shirts wih the OC logo and a pic of Seth and Ryan on the back with the phrase "From the Shithouse to the Penthouse" underneath. It was cool :headbang:
