Well . . . the announcements are coming fast and furious now, and there are only two left unknown: The big two.

If the original rules of Glenn still apply, one is a returning band. I'm hoping Threshold, who should have enough material to fill the top spot now.

The other . . . I couldn't begin to guess. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long.

P.S. - Obligatory request for Virgin Steele for PPVIII

I am praying that one of the headliners will be Evergrey!
That would just make this festival one of the best ProgPower line-ups ever!

That would suck more than all things that suck. OK. It wouldn't suck as much as PoS, but it would suck. And not because Threshold sucks. I respect what they do, they're just not my cup of tea. It would mean this would officially become my least favorite ProgPower line-up. That's cool. There's no way for Glenn to make everyone happy every year. That said, I have faith in Glenn. He will not have Thrshold as a headliner. It will be Evergrey and Iced Earth. Make it so Glenn.

Pagan's Mind would be so perfect, but would they be a headliner? I have no clue who could be the headliners for this year. I read alot of Evergrey predictions, which would be wonderful as well. All I know is, whoever it shall be I'm not going to be dissapointed. The lineup as is, is perfect.

I dont think PM, or Threshold have the power to be a headliner yet. their just not big draws, and I'd be fairly disappointed in that.

I think Evergrey will get the headliner, as they have a new album comming out, some success, and have proven to be a big draw in years past.

I dont there is anyway Iced Earth will play, plus they did that huge US tour for TGB. I have already seen them twice as well, however it was a reunion with Barlowe then I wouldnt not have only shit the pants I am wearing but every article of clothing in my closet!!! ''There's shit every where!!'' :waits to see who gets this "dumb" movie quote:

I am really going out on a limb here but i beleive and hope and wish its going to be EVERGRAY for one headliner, and the NEW NIGHTWISH as the other just kidding, I am hoping for CLOUDSCAPE but i think its going to be KAMELOT.

Not much of a Threshold fan, huh?

Damn...I was totally impressed with their set at PPUSA3 and would totally welcome a return appearance.

Rock on!

Pagan's Mind is not a headliner yet, unfortunately...I was hoping for them to be a returner. My bet is still on Evergrey for one of the headlining spots.

You are right and who knows like I sais before maybe the coupe of the year, NIGHTWISH

if one of the returns is pagan's mind, i hope they close out the festival. I'm notorious for leaving after the fourth band on saturday to relax, and I wouldn't mind a LICK to miss that set, and it would be great for the majority here.

Also, Nightwish doesn't have a lead singer, and as far as I know, have no plans or ideas for a new one. I can't imagine them rushing to find one before progpower.

I know they don't have a lead singer yet, that is as far as all of us know:grin: but i can still wish and hope.

I think Evergrey is about as obvious a guess for one of the headlining slots as there ever has been for this festival.
Jason

You're probably right about Evergrey, Jason. However, if you are, then you have to come up with a new other headliner. Remember, only two returning bands this year, and we already have Mercenary.

.

I agree that PM isn't a headlining band, but I thing Threshold has enough albums, fans, and big songs to pull it off. Glenn said that this year's headliners weren't blockbuster type bands.
