When you do backing vocals, do you do clean vocals, growls, or both?
Also, where can i hear your vocals on Emperial Live Ceremony, i cant tell who's voice is who's since everyone is singing the clean parts.

I could be wrong, but i think thats Tyr going "I AM THEM" in i am the black wizards.

Now I do both styles, well haven't used growling with Borknagar yet, only with Vintersorg.
With Emperor I only used clean vocals, Charmand Grimloch did backing growls only, so the clean vocals you're hearing is Ihsahn and I.
Like on "With Strength I Burn" after the break in the clean vocals part, Ihsahn starts to sing "Upon these seas" I come in contrapuntal "Upon these seas" an octave lower.

Ah okay, yeah i have the cd and the video but i honestly think ive only watched the video like 4 times maximum (i know, i should watch it more), but i listen to the cd like every day haha. Either way, its probably one of my favorite live albums.
