I don't get how Mattias got involved in this, hasn't he always been a cool and a pretty long standing member of UM? Weirdness, it's like it all came out of nowhere. What I find extremely funny is that they are not your usual retarded trolls, and when they go off, I find myself reading each and every word, and just laughing my ass off. I'ts not profanity layden, with horrible grammar, lol it's actually all well thought out and, well, funny. Although, I do agree, it had no place here, and Rahv you had every right to ban them, and you made the right decision on behlaf of the "sanity" of this board.

i can't stand the keyboards. or the fact that a lot of their guitar riffs are blatant rip-offs of the classics (mercyful fate, iron maiden, even in flames). but i think the songs themselves are quite funny, the vocals are good and the guys can play. let's not be too harsh on the band.

ok, they're "talented" (they can play fairly well their instruments). but i would have some problems defining them melodic death metal.
anyway, it seems to me that they're already ran out of ideas, the only CoB album that i still enjoy listening to is the live. amazing.

The one thing U[sic]M was right about is HMAS not being worth visit. I wouldn't make this remark, but someone finally told me I was banned permanantly from there a month ago. No one even told me. but U[sic]M complained about all the wrong things in the wrong way. He was banned for all 200 or so of his posts, ecept maybe 3 or 4. I was banned specifically for one out of 2600+ posts. The post wasn't even against any rules, yet I was still banned. When the In Flames community settled there, tey said they didn't want it to be like the Dark Tranquillity board with so many rules and regulations. They continued to say his for a long time whenever there was a disagreement. I've been in both places. The Dark Tranquillity board is a lot better. This board has enough rules to prevent all the useless crap it could encounter, and If someone reasonably strecthes one of those rules, its allowed. On HMAS, you could be banned from the whole site for one post within all the rules on one board. WE have good moderators here.

And Reno, if you are reading this, yes, this does mean I don't care about being unbanned anymore.

If nobody complains or argues about this, I wont mention it any more.

This is stupid. You assholes just target someone like me trying to get maybe a last message through regardless of what it was. So when I do, you label me as one of them. Stupid. I don't really think it's all that important anyway. If the moderator boots them then they're gone. There is no point to discuss it further, what he says goes. So I suggest that we all go on and say fuck it. If they earn their way back on the board, power to them.

Matthais is almost always reasonable and honest with what he says, but I think him and one of his friends decided to start screwing around to piss people off.

single board moderators cannot easily see users ip's. i think we shouldn't really pay too much attention to the issue anymore. what for most was merely an annoyance was removed. i'm sincere when i say i'm glad if they have found hostel somewhere else and they are appreciated. i don't really want to bother them any further. if i wanted to, i'd start by complaining about their mentioning "rahvin" every other post, or making false claims (u[sic]m's oh-so-funny dark tranquillity bike was never deleted, for once: it's still in the "art gallery" thread for all to see).
let's just understand that there are conditions for our keeping this board the way we want it, and one of them is knowing when it's time to let go. the users who complained about mattias and u[sic]m's behaviour now have everything the way they wanted. i think it's just fair not to prey on those who've been banned and already labeled by many as a pain in the arse.
i'm fairly sure the ip's were different, though. that doesn't really lead to any definite evidence, but i'm not going to look for one. let's just live happily everafter, shall we?
