I have the constitution of my half-orc, which was appropriately 18. 22 strength, too (1st edition transition error and gauntlets of ogre might).

excuse me: I just looked at my old character sheets and I had 24 strength. Every fourth level...

ah well after one of the most un-restful nights of all time and a bunch of advil i'm amazingly feeling somewhat better, i think i'll be over it by tomorrow....my poor friend who has the same thing ended up in the hospital last night though, they told him not to go to class for 3 days, which actually kinda sucks for him cuz he's gonna be way behind

and a couple of my other friends were struck down too, it's the lewis and clark college plauge i tells ya

I feel worse than Susperia looks. Last night it was just some measly symptoms ala sneezing, runny nose, sore throat. Well after a good eleven hours of sleep today those symptoms somewhat subsided, but the second phase has been initialized. Headache, moderate fever, achy joints and bones, raspy voice. Ughhhhhhhhh

I very rarely get sick, but the few times I've had the flu, it's been fun. I mean, who doesn't love puking in the toilet and shitting yourself at the same time. Or having to choose which you would rather clean up off the floor, puke or lava-shit, because you have to do both and can only use the toilet for one of them at a time. That, and you go through dozens of pairs of underwear.

I had tonsilitis about 2 and a bit weeks ago, sadly my travel medical insurance doesn't cover anything other than emergency hospitalization.

So I toughed it out old school... water and tea and water and tea and sleep and soup.

edit: and gargling salt water 3 or 4 times a day.

Has anyone tried Zicam? It is seriously good stuff -- it knocks the cold right out of you provided you take it at the onset of symptoms.

Either that or it simply delays the inevitable, kind of like that Final Destination movie.

Called off from work for the 3rd time straight. It feels so good to not have the responsibility of going in to a job. Even though I'm deathly ill. I feel alive.

Purchased some Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom Death Tablets. The box comes split between night time and daytime. I'm going to finish all the nighttime first FTW.
