in between crushing brews and slaying bitches i made the ultimate purchase of douchebag performance meets stability
im sure you brodio engineers and broducers would be impressed
on a serious note this has to be the best purchase i have made gear wise.
my pc decided to politely die on me along with my mackie 1200f .. which in hindsight isn't a bad thing. So i procured this little gem as well as an RME Freface UFX and a rack of Audient pres to go with it..
I'm yet to receive them and am currently running an emergency Fireface 800 but i have to say the performance increase and stability is ridiculous. My onyx used to sit on about 10ms latency with a buffer of 128 and was prone to fuck ups here and there. Sitting on the same buffer with the Fireface 800 im getting a very nice 2 - 3 ms latency both ways. Cant wait till i get the UFX in the mail and fire her up.
Anyone with PC horror stories please share.
