Ultimate metal pick-ups

What's the best pick-up for metal (specifically death metal) in your opinion?
My Jackson RR3 is off having a Dimarzio Fred (bridge) and PAF Joe (neck) fitted, but I want a pickup to go in one of my other guitars solely for death metal.
I'm thinking maybe a Dimebucker? Any ideas anyone?

And are there any websites with clear instructions (with pictures! ) on fitting replacement pickups? Thank 'e.

Well, for death metal I'd rec the EMG81 and 85s or if you're looking for pickups from other makes you should go for the DiMarzio X2N or Seymour Duncan Distortion.

Dimarzio evo!!! awesome midrange. and the lows arent very beefy but they still get one hell of a sharp clean crunch. They have that slam you in the face sound. Insane lead tones also.
