UM Fantasy Football 2013

I'm happy with how I did in the draft and I hope I can improve on last years second place finish.

I drafted for another fantasy league that I am doing with coworkers. There is an odd number of teams so it is a total points league rather than a win/loss league. 11 teams and I picked last. My first four picks were Calvin Johnson, Jimmy Graham, Maurice Jones Drew and Eddie Lacy. I think I'll be good as long as there are no big injuries.

How much does draft order matter in Fantasy Football? I'm usually one of the last to choose, but I seem to do well.

My team is too nice. I'm willing to grant mercy to you all right now. In turn you shall all praise me every Sunday. I'm considering it done. Thx fellas.

This was my team in a pay league I drafted for just now.

Wow, I totally spaced the draft, but I was driving to the White Mountains (AZ), so that's cool. I didn't even make a custom draft ranking. I got what you would get if you did nothing, which is what I did. I have no idea if my team is any good. I haven't been paying attention to anything as far as player news or whatever. We shall see. Don't worry, I will be more active for the season.

It put such a smile on my face seeing you start the week off with negative points

I should have known better, it was a terrible matchup for Baltimore. Also I did not say I would win the league easily, I said if our entire roster counted that I would. If Amendola stays healthy though I like my teams chances.

Yahoo gave my team a C and projected I get 10th place in the league with only 2 wins.

I don't see it though, it looks a lot like a team I ran last year and got 1st place. I didn't pay any attention this offseason, since my RL team lost the Super Bowl. But I know that analysts over-hype themselves on new players and etc, and forget how good some of these guys are. I think I have a good chance. Made a mistake not knowing Harvin was injured, but whatever.

I think Anquan Boldin is going to get the lion's share of WR work in SF. Might start him over Smith.

Aaron Rodgers GB - QB
Vincent Jackson TB - WR
Torrey Smith Bal - WR
Marshawn Lynch Sea - RB
Owen Daniels Hou - TE
Frank Gore SF - RB
Justin Tucker Bal - K
San Francisco SF - DEF

Bench:
Anquan Boldin SF - WR
Percy Harvin Sea - WR
BenJarvus Green-Ellis Cin - RB
Greg Jennings Min - WR
Ben Roethlisberger Pit - QB

Guess I was right on the Boldin thing, at least this week. Also, the prediction system on yahoo is bad.
