Under-rated

to be honest, i think anthrax was better with beladona. Bush has better vocals, but back then it seemed to have a main focus on speed metal, now they are being more heavy than just focusing on being fast.

well i'm gonna throw an interesting twist on things, what if belladonna was in the band for there first elektra release,i think it would have been there paydirt (maybe 3 or 4 millions copies)how many bands has there been that can sell 1.3 million albums after a change of singer

that spells pure class to me!!!!!!

give us your thoughts people

i think dan spitz was under-rated, he played some awesome solos on the old records. but i wonder what he's gonna come up with on his next project with nicko mcbrain from maiden...
as for joey - nah i prefer john bush...
joey was the weakest link on all their old records IMO...

Dutchy, man, I am 24, am I old geezer to you? :D
Anthrax with John is the most fucking underrated band on this planet. It was different in the 80s. But now the music is WAY better... but people have their heads so much up their asses so they don't get it. Sorry if I have offended anyone!

How could anyone that proclaims himself to be a "Thinner Cartman" ever offend anybody?

Yeah, I agree that Joey was the weakest link. I'm not saying the stuff they did with him was bad...it was cool. It's just so much better with John.

I first saw Anthrax on some music thing on tv (besides mtv or vh1) when they played the video for some Limp Bizkit song, Grinspoon - Post Enibriated Anxiety, Rob Zombie - Dragula, and Anthrax - Inside Out. I bought the cd because of inside out. The video was cool too. Interestingly, I didn't really start listening to metal for a few years later at 12. I started listening to Anthrax at 9 or 10.

After our continued support and great music from Anthrax and a little luck the guys will have to title a future cd 'Defenders of the Faith'. Like another metal band in the 80's who had 'a few' albums out.
