Underrated/Overlooked Albums

I'm going to say Cryptic Writings, but only relative to other Megadeth albums.
I've heard plenty of people say that it's shit, and i'm simple flabber-ghasted.

"When Day and Dream Unite" by Dream Theater gets a vote from me. Most people usually stick to LaBrie's stuff, but Charlie Dominici was a great vocalist too.

i never listen to that album... only Ytse Jam and the intro of The Killing Hand ( because that's beautiful )

the reason is because i don't really like the production...

CW is great, people are just fags. the World needs A Hero gets a lot of crap too, thats a good album.

I'm listening to it now. It's wierd but cool. Dave just seems to be singing about the same thing as Sweating Bullets but just over a whole album

yeah I enjoy Cryptic Writings and Youthanasia alot. Definitly underrated!!
I totally forgot about Megadeth..
But United Abominations is very crappy though.

another one: Overkill - I hear Black

very great album, more Sabbath influenced and very awesome harmonies. Blitz Vocals are also very clean, melodic and not so much 'Toxik'-like.
Definitly one of their best records.

Youthanasia is boss. Listened to that yesterday too. It's one of my favourites as an album.

Coroner - Coroner is another album. Nobody fucking cared... such a shame, it has some of their best work.

Lazarus A.D. - The Onslaught

This albums fucking rocks. If you like thrash you owe it to yourself to check this album out.

Don't like 'em. Also, it's a bit daft bringing new bands into this - especially since Lazarus A.D have only done two albums.

the fact that fans of thrash don't recognize Lazarus A.D.'s The Onslaught for the thrash masterpiece that it truly is means the band and album fit the definition of underrated/overlooked
