Hey, you're close to Ledgewood? Shit, I teach guitar at the music store in the mall there...

I've tought as young as 6 but to be honest, I think thats a bit too young... 8 years seems like an age where kids can start getting the kind of attention span needed to sit through a 30 min guitar lesson.

I usually start my beginners on simple open position chords, as well as some melodic exercises such as the standard major scale fingering.

Hopefully we will someday. We just did a show in Brooklyn and the Madfest festival in Texas last month. We probably won't get a chance to do any more shows until after our new album comes out tho.
