Two bands that are the most massive wtfwhydoesanyonelikthisshit for me: Muse and Radiohead.

Is it the vocals or everything? Early Muse and early Radiohead surely have parallels, but they've gone in their own directions since. Where Radiohead goes for subtlety, Muse goes for rock operas.

While the first two albums (Pablo Honey and The Bends) do very little for me, I have a soft spot for a lot of Radiohead's sadder-sounding material (e.g. Videotape, Climbing up the Walls, Sail to the Moon, Codex).

I wouldn't call myself a huge Muse fan, I just like a bunch of songs, never listen to a full album. They are however, a very VERY good live band and my girlfriend likes them, so we decided to go to the concert.

The sound was good in the front row were I was standing so I thought the gig was all sorts of great but it seems like the sound sucked for those in the back. What kind of fucking venue was that to play anyway, it sucked! They should have just played at klubben or something it would have been much better.

can't believe i missed him saying that yeah, the sound was pretty crap tbh, dunno what the sound tech was doing. anders had some major guitar problems in the beginning as well, and both he and nick forgot lyrics here and there, but it was nice seeing them

I moved forward after a few songs and it was better, but far from good. PL sounded fucking ace in there. The setup must have been fucked.

Yeah, I doubt they rehearse often. (Aside: Just checked the booklet, Nick wrote lyrics for Beyond Cremation and Unite in Pain.)

In the first 3 songs the sound was really bad, the sound guy was doing the Eq on the run, after so you die things got better. I couldn't understand shit about what nick said in between songs except for some jokes, the set list was awesome, I would have changed hades rising and that's it. They played a bit sloopy and nick fucked up the lyrics here and there (best example was weak aside, it was awesome to see it performed live anyway). The crowd was perfect, some weirdos here and there but thankfully no mosh pit, just good old heandbanging, awesome. The opening bands were quite good, overtorture was quite ok for a first band and facebreaker killed it, best sound of the night also. Paradise lost sounded bad when they played there imo, good eq but the sound was literally propeled to the audience, really over the top, I got bells on my ears for two days because of it. First time I see bloodbath and to me it was awesome, cool people, and I got a guitar pick from sodomizer the highlight was Like Fi-ah!
