Upcoming gigs you are going to..

Dude.. you talk in absolutes.
It sounds like to you the music and performance has the importance of 1/10 and people/crowd,bar/beer has the importance of 10/10. Is it really that way?

I go have a few beers with the people I like before the gig, go in and enjoy the show, probably cuss at the few obligatory retarded people in the crowd that really shouldnt be allowed outside their cage around people, then go home, or go have a few beers with the people I like.
Its really a masterful plan and tactic.

Comparison of two musically identical Bloodbath gigs <3

Tilburg this spring: Free from work for like seven days in a row in a small town packed with great outside places to hang out at. 20 awesome bands to see, no worries and all the time in world to hang out with people and getting pumped up.

Stockholm gig: Run from work to home like a fucking video game character, eat food in about 8½ seconds, run to the bus, run to the bar. Hang out with people for like 20 mins before they have to run to catch bands. Miss Facebreaker due to long ass bullshit line. 30 mins to get a beer due to swedish style no fucking bartender available. Watch gig, most people go home after since the work countdown commences like a fucking doom hourglass. Only positive thing about this gig was at least that there were no non-headbanging camera idiots in the way in the front. A cool night during the circumstances.

Dont really care for 5 secs what people do in the crowd as long as they dont block the front with shitty iphone filming or standing still and blocking headbanging. I'm just tired of people that I would never have a conversation with unless we listened to the same style of music, especially when it comes down to arena rock/power metal people which I don't even have a music connection with beyond ERMAGURDLONGHAIR.

I see what you mean. I preffer the Stockholm gig-thing over spending the night in the gym, in front of TV or PC waiting for work next day.

I think we had a really cool time during the circumstances, but I still feel that doom clock all over me every time I do something on a week day. That's why I generally just go home and do physical workout and musical shit. Plus my social anxiety basically has me shivering after a full day of bullshit conversations at work.
