Updating my dt tattoo?

After a few years, my dt tattoo is starting to look pretty terrible... I honestly don't think the artist did a great job to begin with, and I think I'd like to get some colours added.

Here's how it looked when I first had it done:

And here's how it looks now. Note that I took the photo myself, and it's a bit distorted because it's really hard to photograph the back of your own leg.

My question is, what would you guys suggest adding to it? I want to make it unique, but still have it be recognizable as a Dark Tranquillity tattoo.

I wouldn't call it "terrible", but the top and bottom are bad, specially the top. Hard to suggest what could be added, have you thought of any colours? Would be cool to add some unusual ones for that tattoo (e.g. Haven colours).

Yeah, I'm going to get the outline thickened/reblackened, and I'm not sure what colours I want to add, but I definitely do want colours.
