Upgrading monitors, need suggestions!

Hey guys I've been mixing on my M-Audio BX5a's for about two years now and I recognize my mixes would benefit from a more accurate monitoring environment.

Let me know if you guys have suggestions!

Budget isn't necessarily an issue. I want to invest in something now and be done with it.

My room is not treated right now, but will be after this upgrade.

You should try to go listen to some. The favorites around here seem to be the Opals, the KH310's and the Focal Twins. All are great, but sound quite different.

Very positive review of these in an issue of TapeOp from about a year ago. The reviewer really really liked them. I def wanna hear em!

Well considering that i KNOW the M-audios are shit, I'm ok with making a purchase while considering how to treat my room.

I went ahead and purchased the sceptre S8s. Ill post back when i receive them with impressions!
