upgrading to protools le for beat detective

hey, i'm currently looking to upgrade my set up, and was thinking about getting the digi 03 with protools le and the production pack so i could get multi-track beat detective. i'm currently using logic pro 7 and my sound card is the motu 828mk2, i haven't had great results editing drums with it but everything eles seems cool. i wondering is it worth getting the digi 03 and switching for beat detective, does switching to protools have any other benifits? and are there any alternatives to beat detective that could save me spending all that cash?

Beat detective is amazing. Especially if you have multi-track. Elastic Audio in PT is pretty sweet too!

If you're happy with Logic, stick with it. Get an M-Box or something just so you can run Pro-Tools - just use it for Beat Detective then bring everything back into Logic.
