Using Impulses with Pod Farm dual tone?

Dual tone > Bypass cab for both tones > use one impulse for both?

OR the obvious option

Single tone > Bypass cab > Use impulse

Then just create a new channel with another tone?

Any suggestions/advice/ experience would be great

I use dual tone with impulses all the time.

You can definitely go either route and mix mics but I just like dual tone because it gives you more options with the tone. I use the big bottom / criminal a lot and just mix and match them to find a good sound.

I do. Not sure if that' the best way to do it or not. but it seems to work for me.
